The mission of Sierra Nevada Donor Awareness is to promote and raise awareness for the tremendous need and success of organ and tissue donation. Utilizing community outreach programs including our signature DONOR WALK, we will highlight the success, honor the donor’s and their families, and educate our community of the need for organ and tissue donation.

We will utilize every opportunity to increase the awareness and dispel misconceptions surrounding organ and tissue donation.

The DONOR WALK will support education opportunities for individuals whose lives have been significantly impacted by organ and tissue donation. We will provide support to individuals seeking or supporting organ transplantation as well as transplant recipients.​
